Hello; I have a sql server 2008 with a default and a name instance, I changed the name instance server authentication and now I need to restart it.
If I right click on the name server instance and click on restart will that restart my entire server or will it just restart that server instance.

Right click on your named instance and pick restart - this will restart only named instance.
