I am trying to use the Dynamics CRM (3.0) SDK in my ASP.NET (VB) code to connct to CRM and create a new product entity.

I am new to the SDK and am having trouble with this, I have the web service correctly registerd but I'm not sure what I need to do from there.

Does anyone have any sample code they could share on how to create a new product?

I've search the web but can't find anything relevant to what I'm trying to do

Thanks for your help

Honestly CRM 3.0 is a very much old product and I would not recommend it to anyone as of today.

Assuming we don't have any other choice I suggest you download : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=9c178b68-3a06-4898-bc83-bd14b74308c5&displaylang=en

and check out given examples in it. It is very much straight forward.

Apart from that you can also check this sample : http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb407658.aspx

It has a VB.Net code after C# code and gives you a fair idea about how you can create a record in CRM.

Let me know if you need more help.
