When trying to fax from a Windows 7 workstation using the Server 2008 FAX role the OS 7 cannot send until the dashes are removed from the Exchange 2010 public folder address list. Is there a work around? Is there a quick way to remove the dashes from the public folder list?

There is no way to mass format any entries like this, whoever is entering the numbers this way needs to stop and you need to manually edit the entries...or get someone else to do it.

I ended up exporting existing data into a spreadsheet then used the "Find/Replace" and removed all bad data. Then I imported the clean data into a new public folder that is used for FAXING.

This was the easiest way to correct the bad data.
