Exmerge for 2010

Our Help Desk used exmerge to extract emails to a pst file for users that were termed and now that we are migrating to 2010, exmerge does not work anymore. Is there a replacement for exmerge or a version that works on 2010. I would prefer a utility that you don't need to run on the server itself. We ran exmerge from a separate server. I also don't want to use anything that involves powershell as I don't want any Help Desk staff running powershell commands.

ExMearge  is no more  with Exchange 2007 & 2010 , it is  replaced by two new Exchange Management Shell cmdlets, Export-Mailbox and Import-Mailbox which are  equally as useful to have at hand.

Akhater has an excellent tutorial for using the MS commands, however if as you say you want to avoid PS commands the only other option is to

A. Give your help desk rights to access all mailboxes in order to allow them to do Exports via Outlook, (Although that has its own set of issues with security and maintaining data state etc)

 B. use a 3rd party utility to accomplish your goal of which there are a handful on the market just do a Google search for "Export edb exchange 2010"  or "EDB to PST" or other variations to meet your goal.
