wireless question

A family member of mine has a Panasonic G TV with a built in LAN connection in the basement.  They have a wireless WRT54G linksys router upstairs in a closet.  They do not want to run a wire down to the basement, nor do they want to pay $200 of the wireless Panasonic connector.

Is there a device that will get an IP address VIA wireless with built in switch ports?

Thanks
