SCCM07 System Status query?
Hi - I'm only really after some clarification and advice on this one as I'm still a relative noob to SCCM...thanks in advance...
I am not sure which status report to believe with regard to a software deployment status...?
I look in two places...firstly the nice graphically enhanced "Software Distribution home page" as such under Computer Management > Software distribution...this seems like the most logical place to check and it would seem like the most logical place to grant my boss "view access" to so that they can look at the pretty picture of the graph...however...
When I check the same Advertisment status results under Systems Status > Advertisment Status I get differant results which I am much more inclined to believe as these results seems to be related directly to the success of the actual package being run and completed...
Which set of results best reflect the status of the rollout and thus should be the results I pass on to the boss as to the actual state of the software update?
I know which set of results I am more inclined to believe but I can't tell my boss about the package related results under System Status and then show them the graph under Software Distribution as there is a fairly large discrepancy between the two...i.e. one says 94% success and the other says 65% success...???

I need to get cracking on some DB management tasks to clean up the SCCM07 database to make sure all clients shown in my collections are indeed live and active WITH clients installed. This way the reports will hopefully match the ad status results a lot closer...
