Does anyone know if there is a way to find out what happened to deleted items in the public folders?

I had some emails in a subfolder of Public folders, and they have been deleted. Is there anyway to find out who or what deleted them?

Thanks for any help.

Regards,

no, sadly not, there is no way to audit or trace deletion of items in Exchange as far as I am aware.
