customized code editor

Hi,

I have customized code and I'm looking for editor to help me  in syntax. For instance, I want to customize the editor to hilight the commands and comments in different color and propitiates and values in different color as well

In fact I need to save my time in writing and validating the syntax of the code.

Depending on what language and what else you are doing, any of these would work:

Emacs
XCode
Eclipse

You need to give use more information about what you are doing.
