Can't copy from access controlled section

I'm running Lotus Note version 7.0 I have an access controlled section in my Lotus Note form:
@If(LockFlag = "Yes"; "[Admin]"; "*")
When LockFlag is set to "Yes", the section becomes un-editable.

The problem is that when the section is un-editable, a user cannot copy any text from this section either when it is in Edit mode. Is there a way to make the access controlled section not-editable but you can still copy text from it?

How about hiding the section when LockFlag is Yes and showing a computed field with the text from the section instead.

The solution works if I have only a few fileds in the access controlled section.
