tracing deleted emails

any advice on how to track or locate deleted emails. User A sent email to User B and C. Both Users B and C recieved the emails in their inboxs. Few days later user B reports the email missing. User C confirms that the email has also disappeared as well as User A reports the email missing from his sent items.....btw Exchange 2007 SP2

anyway on seeing who did this and how this happened?

By default the deleted items will has the items for 30 days
From the user outlook click tools and chose recover deleted items
You can also configure to keep it for more time

hi  waleeda....

i know the recover deleted items. however it seems that the same email has been removed out of all 3 users mailboxes. is there anyway of finding out from an exchange 2007 perspective as to why this happended and who did it? logs? event logs?

May be the sender has recalled the message
But for more information you should have 3rf party editing tool

Quest company they have a good auditing tool and it was recommended by microsoft it called change auditor
