MAS200 - SWCOCX error printing report

Hi – We have MAS200 version 405 and receive crystal error: unable to open the specified report. (err/ret=5/0) error occurred on the line 170 in program SWCOCX when trying to print a invoice.

Was working fine and then the users can not use the form button and said something about wrong version of Crystal so installed crystal version 10 and the form started to work but now receive the error above.

Weird – no updates have been made to MAS200 or crystal prior to installing Crystal version 10.

Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Try re running workstation setup.  It appears something has changed in the Crystal files.

If this does not work, try the following.
If the error only occurs on one workstation and occurs with other reports, Crpe32.dll is the wrong version or is damaged.
Uninstall Sage MAS 90 Workstation Setup.
From Windows Explorer, browse to the ..\Windows\System32 or ..\WinNT\System32 folder.
Rename the CRPE32.DLL file to CRPE32.old, if it exists.
Reinstall Workstation Setup.

Thanks - but did a fresh install to test and received the same error and on a different station.
Could be the report is damaged.  You can verify by installing a new standard form.  In invoice printing, generate a new standard form by typing TEST in the form code field.  From the Template pop up, select Plain.  Then do a test print.  If there are no errors, then your original form is damaged.

If that is the case, then perform the following.

If the error occurs on all workstations or only occurs with that report, the report file (.RPT) is damaged.
Click the 'Design' or 'Form' button to open the report or form in Crystal Designer.
Select File / Save As. Note the path and file name.
In Windows Explorer, go to the path noted above and rename the file.
Restore the file from backup, or copy the default report from the ..\Mas90\Reports folder.
Thanks - The first answer helped with the first error - I copied the crpe32.ddl file from the Crystal folder to the system32 folder an that fixed it but now in a different mod we are getting the same error except the error is (err/ret=2/0).

Any ideas?

Finally got this resolved.
Un-installed MAS200, re-installed and copied the MASCR.dll from another location to the new MAS200 folder and everything works.

Thanks for your help!
You are very welcome!!
