windows live mail export

windows 2009 live mail w/n export individual folders, but will export the whole account.
importing to mail 2011 the sent mail folder is missing. does live mail have a database repair utility?

mdsmith52--Perhaps not elegant but it should get the job done for you.
Sent emails in Windows Live Mail 2009 are hopefully still in the WLM Store Folder.  Navigate to the Store Folder for WLM 2009.  You should see a folder with the name of the email service provider (such as Comcast).  Open that folder and you should see the various folders from WLM 2009 (Deleted Items, Drafts, Inbox, Sent Items, etc.).  Open the Sent Items folder.  You should see all the sent emails as files identified by code with the file extension of .eml.  Copy the whole batch (Organize (or Edit)|Select all|Copy).
Open the Store Folder for WLM 2011.  Open the Sent Items folder.  Paste all the Copied email messages into that folder.
