Hi, not an expert in any way on this but from playing around it would seem in XCode 4 you need to create a project workspace then add your projects to it.  However I only have a few weeks experience with XCode 4....

done some playing about this afternoon and have it working..

simply create a new workspace from the file new menu and let it open the workspace, this should give you a blank xcode view.

next in finder locate you existing projects and drag the <projectname>.xcodeproj into the navigation area of the workspace you should end up with a view like.

Projects
when dragging your second or later projects into the navigation area make sure that the disclosure symbol is at it's left most otherwise the project will become a child of another project rather than a child of the workspace.

to set dependancies between the projects in the workspace you need to modify the link section of the build phase for the main project, in my example i have a IOS app and a IOS static lib if you look at the images below this should become more obvious.

Build Options
Selector
I hope this helps as it is not that intuitive on how to set this up.
