Outlook 2007 - Blocked emails

My OS is windows 7 and I use Outlook 2007.

For my Blocked emails, how do I specify emails like *.*.hotmail@aticol.com., which elimnates anyone like : 1234.hotmail@aticol.com; 56789.hotmail@aticol.com and so on,

Spammers are getting creative now and it is a challenge in trying to keep them out of your system as I get like about more than  250 spam emails per day.  and if I do not do my daily maintenance, valid emails also end up in the junk folder.
Thank u.

I don't believe that Microsoft supports wildcard characters in spam filtering.

One of the first things you should do is set you junk mail protection setting to "High" see this article on how to do that:

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/change-the-level-of-protection-in-the-junk-e-mail-filter-HP001230031.aspx

Aside from that it will take a little bit of management of your junk mail "lists" to make it better. Unfortunate for us spammers are always finding new ways around being blocked so its a constant battle.

I would also recommend looking at http://www.slipstick.com/rules/junkmail.asp pay attention to the Sue's rules section.

Hope this helps!
