Notification alerts for changes made in Public Folder calendar

Hello experts:

Does anyone know of a solution that would send notifications to an administrator when someone makes changes to a calendar located in public folders? I am using exchange 2007 and my users are using office 2007.

There are plugins for this sort of thing that cost about $20:
http://www.sperrysoftware.com/outlook/watch-outlook-folders.asp

The other option would be to write an application to do it.

Office doesn't have built in functionality for this at this time.
