m4v file not found but .mp3 is

OK, this is crazy...  I have a simple href that is supposed to play or download a m4v video that I created.  Simple as this:
<a href="../Videos/Introduction.m4v">Tutorial 1 - Overview and Uploading Music</a><br />

The file is definitely there, and it does play just fine when I FTP download it.  I put an mp3 called Introduction.mp3, in the same folder then change the URL and it play just fine.  How could it see the mp3 but not the m4v?  Please help!

if for download, alternatively you can zip the file and link the download to that zip file.

OR maybe it have to do with security where the hosting that you host the m4v files have a policy not to run this type of files?

Thanks, I'll start reading that article.  It's on my web server and I've allowed all permissions on the files.

Is there a way to just force it to download the video to the clients computer?  I just need a quick comprehensive solution.  Thanks -
