How to fix table rowspan through XSL

All,

I have my input table format as below

which is not correct due to rowspan since I am not sure where it goes wrong because rowspan is not working. Since this rowspan value need to evaluate from aid:crows from individual <Cell>. Can you pl let me know where your IT can help me how to fix this XSL.

Hi Sam,

Your algorithm for getting the rows seems broken.

Safest way to work is using the @orgrownum. The problem is that the first two cells don't seem to have this attribute.
Is there a reason for that?
I could get it fixed by assuming that the attribute defaults to "1"
Is that a safe assumption?

I would definitely group using the @orgrownum as a row indicator

Thanks for your answer back.
I  assume that when I have "o_morerows" or "namest" or "nameend", I presume that that entry belongs to same group. So, your assuption is right and you assume as you predicted.

you seem to have merged 2 tablemodels
namest and nameend come from CALS (start column and end column) but you don't define teh names of the different columns
morerows means there is a rowspan
I have the impression that what you have is the result of an uncomplete earlier transform,
is that correct?

No it is not merged table model. Rather it is an InDesign table model that is converted from a CALS model. No this XSL is the complete transformation mode for table.

Sorry by selecting @orgrownum is not working rather, if o_morerows is selected is working. But as I said before when this position changes then grouping is not working. Moreover, this o_morerows value is not always "1" sometimes it varies.
