Hi I have a search facility on this site Heresearch is in top nav area, it all works fine except when you click on a search result the page shows the article along with the module RokTabs below it, what I want to happen is that it just shows the RokTabs (preferably) with that tab selected bit I know that might not be possible.

Can this be done?

This IS possible... But the search plug in you are using would need to be limited to the full articles which are linked to in your menu... What is happening now is that the search plug is locating and returning the articles that you have set to display inside the roktab module. Linking to those articles directly is causing your trouble.

I don't know off hand if there is a ready-made solution that you can install...

Thanks, the only way i can think about getting around it is to do a perminant re-direct on all of those urls  the main article url doing a 301 redirect in htaccess file, would this be a bad thing to do? I also don't want anyone navigating the the pages via google etc.

You can turn off search articles in joomla admin, this is how I fixed the problem, I putt all article text i the catergory but didn't display it, that way the search could find the articles to search but would ony display the category and not the article... it was an awkward way around it but it worked
