Share files over the internet
Greetings all.
What I would like to do is to set up a "share" at one computer and being able to access that folder over the internet with as little hassle for the end users as possible. I do realize that opening the appropriate ports on the firewalls are really a big no-no to enable sharing as they were in our subnet so I do not want to do that. At all.
Going the VPN route where you remote into the host machine would work, but if at all possible I would like to avoid that. In a perfect world I would like a program or service that would let the shared folder just show up on the the client computer like it was just another shared folder from the local network, but still with the security of let's say VPN.
Thank you.
