joomla - Sub menu image link

Hi,

I have created a sub menu ... each item in the sub menu has an image which I have displaying OK. However, I want the image and the menu item title to be displayed. So an image link and a text link. If I turn images off, I get the text link but I cannot seem to get them both to display.

Thanks in advance.

The best way is to use an extension

http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/structure-a-navigation/menu-systems/image-menus

One of these will allow the Image & the text to be displayed to the user

Hope this helps

An extension ... surely that is overkill just for outputting 1 string? There must be a setting or some PHP I can hack somewhere!

Ah it's OK, I figured it out.

In the module settings there was an option 'menu image link' and I switched that to NO.
