I have a challenging situation here.  I need to post back multiple Infragistics webgrids on click of an ASP button control.  Currently I post back using a button located on each grid.  I'm looking to do "Save All" approach so I need to post back these grids based on the action of a button external to the grids.  I'm looking for suggestions on the best way to do this.  Thanks!

If everything is coded correctly, this should be no big deal - just create a button in your form, and in the handler you can inspect parts of the grids.

However, you won't be getting back the datasets, etc., just the contents of the cells - so you will want to make sure those are structured in a meaningful way.

Also be careful you don't overwrite the contents on the load event.

Actually one thing that complicates the situation a bit is that each grid is contained in it's own UpdatePanel.  Since I am changing the way saves occur for all grids I could probably remove those.  But, if not, can I post those UpdatePanels/Grids back individually?

I believe you could use your button (even outside the panels) as a "trigger" for both of the panels.

Here is the case of using a control outside ONE update panel to update it, should be extensible to two:

I'm sorry I have not tried this out yet.  Always pulled in different directions!  But I'm back on this now and will see how it goes.  I appreciate your advice!
