One developper in our department uses VirtualBox to have several Windows on his machine.<br />
He has installed ClearCase on it<br />
However, ClearCase does not really work on that machine <br />
When I use for example the command &quot;cleartool lsvob&quot;, the answer is :<br />
albd_rgy_get_entry call failed: RPC: Timed out<br />
&nbsp;cleartool: Error: Trouble contacting registry on host &quot;zavux300&quot;: timed out trying to communicate with ClearCase remote server.<br />
The registry server is indeed zavux300 (it is ALSO the license server and the VOB server)<br />
We can &quot;see&quot; that server (ping works) and the command clearlicense works <br />
So ?<br />

Running ClearCase on VirtualBox
