Hello,

could you advise me (rather compex answer) which requirements on webhosting should I have so that Drupal CMS would work perfectly?
What problems to consider? How much disk space do I need? etc.

thank you

Hello. I run two websites on Drupal 7 and the basic requirements are as follows:

- Apache / IIS
- Database server (MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQLite)
- PHP (5.2 for Drupal 5 and 6 or 5.3 for Drupal 7)

(taken from http://drupal.org/requirements)

As for the space requirements, it really depends on the ammount of data you'll work with. In my case, the database is just about 50 MB, so a small hosting is enough.

As for the problems to consider, you should have a backup routine, which includes backing up the database and the files from your Drupal installation. For the database, my hosting provider has the phpMyAdmin interface.

If you need further support, just ask! =)

Good luck, Drupal is pretty good!

Thank you for answer,

I will wait for some time, if somebody will write here some typical issues he had and how to avoid them. I'd like to be prepared.
