internal website is down

i have a server running a website that i can access localy from the server but when a remote workstation  tries to access the webpage,  it get a page cannot be displayed.  The remote workstation is network.

can you tell about the correct iis settings.
Please check if proxy is enabled on the workstation.
Check for the firewall settings.

no proxy server
firewall is turned off on server and on workstations.

have u specified any port while defining the virtual directory in IIS.
Are u able to ping the server from the workstation

no defualt port and yes we can ping the server from the workstation

what url u are using on server to launch the website
