Outlook 'private' meeting viewable by Everyone
Hi,
We have Exchange2010 running with Outlook2010.
If we create a Private Meeting and invite a Room (to book it) the resulting meeting is then fully viewable and public despite being marked as Private.
Does anyone know anything about this or know how to make a Private Meeting Private?
Thanks!

Need to add the delegates with the additional permissions of
"Delegate can see my private Items"

Hi,
Sorry, I may not have explained the problem effectively.
We make a private meeting intentionally so IT CANNOT BE SEEN. It is, after all, a Private Meeting and we want no details of the meeting readable or viewable by anyone else but the attendees. (except for to see the meeting exists)
If we add a ROOM to the meeting because we need to book the resource, all the details of the PRIVATE MEETING are now wholly public. Anyone can read the contents and details of the supposed PRIVATE MEETING.
If we create a PRIVATE MEETING we DO NOT want it to be PUBLIC. Yet Outlook appears to do this.
Does anyone know if this is by design or if there is a way to ensure that private meetings are kept private even if booked into a resource?
Thanks!
(gave a points bump too!)

one more query:
Anyone can read the contents and details of the supposed PRIVATE MEETING
>> this is on the resource\room mailbox or on the organizers\recipients mailbox?

Hi,
On the Room Resource.
If one opens the Users Shared calendar it is Private. Kinda pointlessly as everyone can see it in the resource!
Can we modify the behaviour of the Resource to only display Private Meetings to invited delegates? (this would be the obvious and proper configuration)

RemovePrivateProperty
The RemovePrivateProperty parameter is set to $true to clear the private flag for incoming meeting requests. To ensure the private flag that was sent by the organizer in the original request remains as specified, set the RemovePrivateProperty to $false for the room mailbox. Valid input for this parameter is $true or $false.
