Hi friends,

I have newly installed BMS in the following environment:

1.BAS server 01
2.BAs Server 02
3.BES Primary
4.BES Standby
5.BMS
All with Service Pack 2 and Maintenance Release 4.

All working fine except for the "Database" component is greyed out.

I want to monitor my Configuration Database (not BMS Database) and i cannot find a way to fogure out how to add that server hosting my SQL Server 2005, hosting my BES domain Configuration database.

Your input would be highly appreciated,

thanx..

yes these options will come for monitoring if the database expands and show these options, mine is not showing these options.

have you checked the permissions for the bes service account on the configuration database

sysadmin,dbcreator,serveradmin

also adding the bes admin account to local admin group on the server might be one thing you want to try.

once done, restart the blackberry services and then try if you could add the config database to the monitoring service.
