Create mac and pc domain

I've got a new client that has approx 70 mac workstations and 40 windows workstations.  Well, I'm the furthest from a mac expert that you can get.  I'm wondering will a Windows Server be able to manage both mac and pc workstations?  Most of their critical functions are managed by corporate.  But they at least need to manage computer/users and shared printer/files locally.  What's recommended in this scenario?

Thanks!
