Does BOE XI have issues submitting parameters for a Crystal Report using Firefox 3.6.

The report is hosted on BOE XI server and called via URL.

It seems it uses javascript and after  I select all values for parameter s i hit OK and nothing happens.

it works fine with IE 7 and IE8.

According to this supportrd platforms document, BOE XI is not supported on anything after FireFox 2.0
http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/boc/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/10adabe5-823f-2b10-edb9-fe8ccc5e3dd3?QuickLink=index&overridelayout=true

Not supported means they haven't tested it and won't fix the products to make them work unless you can show the problem exists in a supprted platform like FF 2.0

Interesting!

so a user with latest brwser will have some issues using a crystal repot hosted by BOE XI server.

Do you know if there is a newer server version that supports the newer browsers. no one uses FF 2.0 and IE 6 these days.

I don't know.

They support IE7.

The supported platforms documents can be accessed from

What do you think of the idea of using HTML forms instead of CR parameter forms and then passing the values programmatically (create a URL)  to the report via URL.

That method is available though I am not sure which programs support it.

I don't know if it does or not.
I can't find any references for BO 12.
