Ipad&Iphone synchronization with exchange - outlook dependence

Hi there,

i have an ipad which i configured to connect to exchange and all good.
The issue is pulling the emails.
Ipad are not getting any emails till i actually open my outlook and i can see all new emails in my outlook inbox and ipad starts receiving emails.
Same problem with the iphone.

any idea??

Your problem is related to Anti-Virus Interference and my article describes a solution for you, in the Inconsistent Sync section:

The registry key mentioned enables Background Scanning of the Exchange store and should resolve your problem for you (don't worry about the version of Exchange).
