Hi,

We're developing a Mobile app which extensively relies on Mobile browsers.Presently, we don't have a provision to deploy the application and see how it behaves. So, we're primarily depending on DAY CQ mobile emulators.

1. Our major concern is whether the AJAX calls,Cookies,Session things gonna work in real mobile browsers or not :( In CQ emulators it works fine.

3. Is there any other emulators available where the Mobile Application can be tested? (Freeware)

Please share your thoughts.

Thanks,
Rio

you need a mac, xmode, iphone sdk and ios sdk I think there must be an emulator in the iphone sdk as there is in the android sdk and as they are in serious competition the iphone sdk cant have a real requirement as an emulator is the most important requirement as you dont need a physical device in the iphone and ios sdks to test native apps as thats what xmode does, I think its obective c.

So if I where you I would get into iphone, ipad and android

have a look at appcelerator as thats a iphone/ipad and adroid dev suite using an xml file contrtolled by things like php or javascript

I do know apple are trying to hinder applications like phonegap and appcenter by changing the why safari works as the apps cannot use nitro which is the new way of safari working but the phonegap and appcelerator will not be able to use nitro
