HI

With some investigation of how to use "like button" of facebook in my website, I have found that I could use XFBML language and its SDK, finally there is an option to register my application in order to have an ID, so do I need to pay for an APP ID ?

The application API key is used to have a trusted connection from the website using the API to the Facebook server; it is a common technique to use such keys to prevent unauthorized applications from access i.e. Google uses it in their Google Maps API and in Google Analytics.

Register your application here:
http://developers.facebook.com/setup/

A nice tutorial can be found here:
http://www.dreamincode.net/forums/topic/153919-facebook-php-api-and-xfbml-on-iframe/

... and the FB developer pages should also be worth reading:
http://developers.facebook.com/docs/
https://github.com/facebook/php-sdk/

Good luck!

During registration I got a message that says that I have to verify my account giving my mobile phone or my credit card, is this because is going to be charged?... I have to mention that there isn´t my country in the list (for a mobile device verification).

Registering an application is free, the credit card or phone number is merely used to verify you're a real human person and it's most likely a back insurance in case your application causes problems on Facebook, i.e. through spying on personal data.

I also found the following blog article about the new developer registration process on the Dev blog:
