CCM - MGCP registration issue - Mismatch between hw and XML

When changing the GW names, what are the appropriate steps in order to get the GW registered back correctly with CCM and the configuration file to download.

The domain-name has been added to a variety of sites and I have updated that in CCM. I issued a no mgcp, mgcp to reset the GW registration process and that worked to get the GW back online but its failing on downloading the correct config file, the router lists the following.

Mismatch between hw and XML file for 0/1/0

I've seen this before when renaming a gateway. Tried a variety of things then rebooted the router. After reboot everything worked correctly.

But to answer your question, rename the hostname on the gateway first then rename in ccm. Besure to match case and including the fully qualified domain name if the domain is specified on the gateway.

Appreciate the input and here's what I ended up finding out.  The client also moved the FXO card in the router to another slot causing the configuration to fail. Once I addressed that in CCM the appropriate steps were to issue.
