We are having issues with a machine that has Outlook 2010 installed; All the contacts are showing up fine but when we create a new email and click the two buttin we are presented with the 'Select Names' windows but all options and boxes are blank, and we recieve the following error 'no address list in address book – consult Microsoft exchange administrator'.

See attached picture for example. Outlook Error

I have had this on previous version of Outlook but I dont have Outlook 2010 to check.
In the profile under the directorys options - try removing the MAPI address book and then readding it again (in older version it was under Additional Address book, Outlook Address book)

Did not try the 2nd solution above as customer opted to uninstall and reinstall office completely which seems to have cured the issue. Extreme but worked.

Was the solution used to  fix the problem as other options either didn't work or weren't tried
