My Xerox 8560 mfp keeps going offline

After going offline, I am unable to even ping the printer. No drivers have been changed but we had an engineer visit a few weeks ago who swapped the hard drive in the printer.

Try doing a factory reset (NVRAM reset) on the printer. This can be done from the front panel under System Settings > Troubleshooting > Service Tools. Note that you will have to re-enter all printer settings, like IP address etc.
Can you ping the IP address of the printer? If so, check the port settings and see if the SNMP box is checked. If so, uncheck it and the printer will probably come back online. If this is the problem, there is a hotfix for it.

If neither of the above fixes solve the problem.

A little more information is needed.

A. Is this on Network? i.e. Peer to Peer.  or client server Win 2003 Server?

B. Could you print a configuration page so we can see IP address for printer as well as
router Ip address and sub net.
