DW (CS5, PC): Remote Site File Directory: chmod

How can i get the remote site directory to access Set Permissions?
It's greyed out when i right-click.

CUrrently i have to use another FTP client or shell script  to do a chmod.

It should not be greyed out at all.  This indicates either the user does not have permissions to issue a chmod command (file is owned by a different user or group) or DW is screwed up.

hmmm i change the permissions with no problem in CuteFTP (for example).
I just installed CS5.   Admittedly DW does crash about once a day when i have 5-6 windows open in code-mode (PHP), and the code editor color coding is seemingly random sometimes as if its parser has gotten lost for nested constructs ( <input> <option> <?= "strings"?>     context especially!)

everything else works as well as can be expected (actually many things in CS5 have been fixed from previous versions).

Windows 7 Pro 64b, 8G ram, 6T disk  (thus no problems on system resources front)

Reinstall it.  I'm almost certain this is corruption.

Or, delete the site definition and rebuild it first...
