Hi experts,

http://www.fobgfc.org/sq1a.php

My problem here is how to update the database via the save button (which currently does nothing).  Of course data may have been changed on other pages which will need writing to the db.  I could save each page as loads of session variables, but apparently this isn't the most secure method? and with telephone numbers I need to be careful.

The pagination is done by a package which I am reluctant to tamper with, so updating every time I move page isn't an option.

On the real db there would be about 500 rows.

Thanks and regards,

Hi,
What kind of database are you using?
Try adding an action to the savebutton which loads a "save-to-database.php" file.

I didn't realise I don't need to keep track of all the changes between pages. I am going the jeditable/datatables route.
