Hi, I am working on migrating our SharePoint Services 3.0 that is using the Internal Database product that comes with it, which I believe to be SQL Server 2005 Express.

I was wondering if I could use the Microsoft SQL Server Managemet Studio Express tool to make a backup copy of the database and then move it to the new SQL Server 2005 SP4 x64 machine to restore it to be on the new SharePoint Foundation 2010 machine?

I just was wondering if this would be a smoother, cleaner migration of the Express database then using the disassociation of the web app on the machine and then just copy and pasting the database to the new machine.

Thanks in advance.
