Using Word Documents in Crystal Reports

I have a need to use lengthy descriptions in a report.  These descriptions probably will not change over time but it is possible.  Currently the descriptions are saved in individual MS Word documents.

I realize I can insert  Word document but I need to insert the document associated with the record.  I don't want to insert up to 90 documents and suppress the undesired ones.

I know you can use a filepath from the database for a graphic.  I don't see that capability to do that for other OLE formats.  I assume it is not possible.

Am I correct in that assumption and the only avenue for this will be to open each Word document and copy the contents into a text or memo field inthe database.  That was my original plan because I didn't know the user had the descriptions already saved as individual files.

I'm not aware of any way, I'm afraid :(  When you insert an OLE object into the report you can "Format Graphic" and the "Graphic Location" conditional formula button is available, but it just doesn't work with anything other than the acceptable graphics file types like .bmp.

That is what I thought and what I believe we have been saying in answer to others here.
