I want to setup exchange 2007 server for EAS so that users can setup the iphone/ipad for email through exchange at our company. I am starting this from scratch with no previous setup on our network for access to email through mobile devices. Please any and all links and documentation would be of great help

ActiveSync comes pre configured out of the box there is not much to do.

1. You need a public IP on your firewall (if you are already using OWA you can skip this)
2. You need to forward port 443 on your firewall from this public IP to the  IP of your exchange CAS server  (if you are already using OWA you can skip this)
3. optional but recommended : buy a certificate for your exchange server  (if you are already using OWA you can skip this)
4. configure your ipad/iphone

really that's about it

How do you configure this so that the password security on the device gets pushed down automatically?
