Hi

I have an IBM x226 server as my file server. We had a power failure and then I get a blue screen of Death saying .........."Driver is mismanaging System PETS".

No new updates nor any new hardware was installed over the past 1 month on this server.

Please assist.

Regards
Denish

hello
1. If you have any leftover ATI drivers from a previous display device, uninstall the drivers and the ATI Catalyst Control Center software.

2. Then uninstall your Nvidia Geforce driver.

3. Finally, update the driver manually. DO NOT USE THE NVIDIA INSTALLER. DO NOT USE THE EXE. Just go into the properties for the display adapter and update the driver from the files in C:/NVIDIA where the installer previously dumped them.

4. Reboot and try again. The BSOD should be gone.

I found the problem. There was a modem card that was installed 5 years ago and as soon as I took the card out the BSOD was gone.

Thanks for the assistance.
