MailTips could not be retrieved

Hi all!

We've got a single server setup of Microsoft Exhange 2010 SP1 + Update Rollup 2
There is also a legacy Exchange 2003 server with one user left on it. The Exchange 2003 server is genereting the OAB.

Suddenly for some reason, whenever I click "New E-mail" or reply to a mail in Outlook 2010, I now get a message saying MailTips could not be retrieved. I figure this has something to do with the EWS? Please help!

I would like to add that MailTips work from OWA and Outlook in online mode.

Can you please check if the internal URL of the EWS is correct?
Accessible from your client machines?

This can also happen if a user changes his/her sAMAccountName while keeping the primary email address.  This problem was resolved after refreshing the OAB on the client Outlook.
