When I plug in a digital cable to a computer I just rebuilt it works fine, but if I plug in the analog it will show the windows startup but go to a black screen?  Analog also works in safe mode.  The motherboard is a GA-MA74GM-S2 and the video card is a radeon 4650, but analog doesn't work through the motherboard or the videocard.

If I had to speculate I would say this is a driver issue. The fact that it works in safe mode points first to driver problem, if that's not the case we can drill it down further.
