Restrict Internet explorer for users.
I am using HP Thin Clients for our teachers to access their grades and shares on our AD Windows domain on our 2008 server.
I do NOT want them to be able to sure the internet. However I would still like the Administrators to be able to access the net occasionally.
How do I restrict all but the administrators for internet access with internet explorer

in group policy editor,
1) create a new Organizational Unit (OU)
2) create a copy of your default domain policy (GPO)
3) Link the copy GPO to the new OU
4) in the new GPO go to the user configuration, windows settings, internet explorer maintenance, Proxy settings and double click it.
5) add a proxy of 127.0.0.1 and port of 90 (Leave "Use the same proxy server for all addresses checked")
6) move the users from the users container (or where ever they currently are located) to the new GPO container.

ASKER
Won't these restrict the users on all stations--not just the server. I want them to be able to access the internet from normal stations--just not while on the server.
