Had a user duplicated. Once as a mail contact with the correct email address, and one as a user (mailbox) with the incorrect address

I deleted the mail contact and changed the user's email address to the correct one

Now every time anyone emails him they recieve the following:

550 5.2.0 RESOLVER.FWD.NotFound; misconfigured forwarding address

How do I fix this?

Thanks
Jim

Check the mailbox to ensure it is not forwarding anywhere

Also have a look at the mailbox through ADSIEdit and ensure there is no TargetAddress attribute

When testing sending to the mailbox try and send to it from the GAL and see if that works
