Multiple auto filters? Excel VBA script

I have a list like whats given in the example.

I need to be able to specify what car types i want (multiple) and return a list with all those car types.

I figure i need to auto filter this list multiple times and have that output to a list on the car check sheet.

Sounds like you need to use the Advanced Filter option rather than Auto filter. The result of an advanced filter can be extracted from the data set and placed elsewhere. If done manually the criteria and the result have to be on the same sheet as the source data, but if done via a macro they can be on separate sheets.

I will work on an example for you.

ASKER

your example works well but i haven't been able to implement it in my sheet.

here are the differences between the example and the sheet i'm actually working with.
The criteria range is dynamic and i have a few lines determining how long it is. it is also in column N
The data being filtered is on its own sheet and the filter applies to  column E (there is data in A-G)
The copied table will be on the same sheet as the criteria range but in adjacent columns (R-X)

also i'm filtering using strings
