-what product are you using to do the conversion?

-at what point during the process do you get that error?

-what host version is the target server?

i am using vmware vcenter converter standalone

specify source. I select power on machine for the select source type.

specify power on machine - I put in the ip address of the source server and the credentials and set it to windows for the OS family.
thats when i get the error above.

The source is running windows 2003 server and citrix

the destination is running the free hypervisor server.

-Is there a firewall enabled on the windows 2003 server or one in between the two systems?

-Did you install converter onto the 2003 server or running it from a 3rd system?

Ok I figured out the problem with that first error. which was caused by the agent on the server.
I removed the converter agent and reinstalled it remotely using vmware converter.

now i am stuck on the ready to complete section.

the error is " a specific parameter was not correct. targetdiskparams.volumecloningparams.sourcevolumeId"

Could you help with this error? thanks
