How do I create an email signature with Outlook 2007 that allows me to add a logo, hyperlinks to Facebook and Twitter?

I have created a signature block for a client that has thier logo, contact information, website link and images of Facebook and Twitter links.  I created it in Fireworks and saved it as a png.  When I load image into the signature area, the links are not active.  I tried to create a logo block and added the images of facebook and twitter and compile it in outlook and the spacing is too large.

Help!

Any suggestions?

a png is an image file type.  You can't embed clickable links inside a png.
If you create a new signature the way you have been and then navigate to:

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Signatures

if using xp then its:
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures or similar

You will find three files for the signature.  Open each file in turn and modify to suit your requirements.  I would totally scrap the contents of the html file and write it by hand.  You have to define different types as emails are sent in a variety of different formats.

ok.  I found the files, but I am unsure about the next steps.  I have attached a copy of an example that I need to create.  The website needs to be a link, each icon for twitter and facebook needs to be a link.

 

but did not see an html.  I only had xml files. Email Signature
