you may use word addin like note stripper (Editorium), or any macro that move the footnote to the text area, then simply copy and paste into excel. each paragraph would be pasted in a cell.<br />

I have a user who created a large Word document that contains lots of footnotes. &nbsp;He wants the footnotes and the words that reference the footnotes extracted from the document and put into an Excel table. &nbsp;Anyone have any idea on how that can be done? &nbsp;I have a very good programmer here so if it needs a programmer that could work for us. &nbsp;If it can be done within Word and Excel I could do that myself. &nbsp;Many thanks for any help!!!
