Hi,

You can use Outlook to setup a fake POP3 account, specify the email address as whatever@domain.com and configure the SMTP server for your ISP. The POP3 server can be a DOT (period). When you send your message it will give an error when attempting to connect to the POP3 server, however this is okay.

This is no guarantee that this will deliver and may be detected as spam. We have pulled a prank of sending an email from Britney Spears internally, the look on the recipients face was 'priceless'

Best of luck!

If you attempt to make it look real, chances are it'll be caught as spam. You could try Outlook and connect it to your Gmail, Hotmail and configure the IMAP or POP3 connection manually, specifying your email address but use the display name as say Bruce Lee.

That way it'll send okay with the content, however when the recipient looks at the email address it'll be yours. Thats probably the best way forward.

Best of luck!
