Backup Nvidia Settings in openSuSE (to restore after reinstall)

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to backup my nvidia driver and settings in opensuse (and if so, how it's done) so that I'm able to restore them after reinstall without a lot of shenanigans. Thank you in advance for your help.

Saving a copy of /etc/X11/xorg.conf and later restoring it later will preserve your X config.

Thanks very much, I remember editing other directories and having to tweak something else to keep it from freezing-up. It looks like they may have fixed that problem since then and the 'one-click install'. I'll back it up just in case and try the updated version.

Thanks again for your help, I just remembered it was complicated the first time trying to do it and was hoping to avoid a lot of downtime figuring it out.
